YakWP free wordpress Ai chatbot

Yak puts an AI chatbot on your WordPress site with no SaaS subscription and no third-party server. You bring your own API key — Google Gemini (free tier ≈500 req/day), OpenAI, OpenCode Go, or OpenRouter — and everything runs on your own hosting.

Built solo. The free tier is fully functional, not a trial:

• RAG — reads your posts & pages so answers are grounded in your real content

• Semantic vector search — matches by meaning ("how much does it cost" finds the pricing page)

• 4 modes: Sales, Support, Explain, Custom (your own system prompt)

• Lead capture, quick-reply suggestions, response ratings, dark mode

• Product-aware on WooCommerce — can quote prices, SKUs, categories

• Webhook export to n8n, Zapier, Make, or any endpoint

• GDPR notice + configurable retention — all data stays in your own WP database

Pro (optional billing): white-label, CSV export, custom widget CSS, priority support — from €2.99/mo, €29.90/yr (2 months free), or €64 lifetime. No per-seat fee, no lock-in.

Requires WP 6.0+ (tested through 7.1), PHP 7.4+. Free download:
